We're always looking to offer new and exciting services to our members and since we sell phones to our members, why not offer a fair price for their old phones? So we've partnered up with the awesome folks at Ingram who know all there is to know about recycling phones. Now we can offer you the best experience possible if you want to sell your old phone. You can visit our sell my phone page, here.
Below we have listed the process in a few simple steps to make your journey smoother.
STEP 1: Search for your phone, or enter your IMEI Number
STEP 1: Search for your phone, or enter your IMEI Number
Searching for your handset couldn't be easier. Simply enter the name of your handset model to view a list of relevant handsets. Click on your model from the list to receive a rough quote.
The most accurate way to get a quote, is to use your handset's IMEI number. The IMEI number is a unique number given to all mobile phones and tablets, that can be used to identify the phone. If you enter *#06# your clever phone will make the 15 digit IMEI number magically appear on the screen.
Phone not turning on, or screen not working? Some phones let you remove their case, and will sometimes have the IMEI number written under the battery.
Alternatively, it may be written on the SIM holder or the back of your handset. This depends on the phone make/model.
At the moment we are only able to accept specific phone models. If you're phone isn't on the list, it means we can't offer you a price for it at this time
STEP 2: Grading your phone
STEP 2: Grading your phone
We'd hate to disappoint you, so be sure to answer the questions as accurately as possible. On receipt of your handset our partner, Ingram, will fully inspect and test your phone BEFORE the final offer for your handset is emailed to you. Any inaccurate or incorrect information may increase/decrease the value of your handset.
You'll be asked:
Which network is your phone locked to
If your phone is physically damaged or not. General wear and tear is fine, but cracks, buttons missing/broken, or damage to the screen may decrease your phone's value
If your phone is fully functional or not. Does your phone charge, make calls/texts and have a fully working screen, camera etc?
If your device is water damaged
If all accounts are removed from your phone. Note: If you're selling an iPhone, you'll need to remove your iCloud account before you can sell your phone.
