If you decide to switch to another network, you’ll need to request a PAC code if you want to keep your phone number, or a STAC code if you’d like a new number.

You’ll then need to pop that code in when your new network provider requests it.

Requesting a PAC or STAC code

  • Phone: call 43431

  • Text: Message 'PAC' to 65075 for free, if you want to keep your phone number

  • Online: Head over to your profile and settings page, or click this button:

Important information

  • You should receive your PAC code within 60 seconds and it will be valid for 30 days.

  • If you want a PAC code, you’ll need to be in the UK to request it.

  • You have up to 30 days from when you leave giffgaff to request a PAC code from us, and it will be valid for an additional 30 days from the date of issue.

  • If you wish to request a PAC code after you have left, you can do this by logging into your account.

We’ll miss you – but remember, you’re always more than welcome back.
