For starters, you’ll need a giffgaff top up voucher. You can buy these from most supermarkets and corner stores.
Then, dial 43430. This is an interactive service where you can redeem vouchers to add credit to your account and buy plans over the phone.

You can set the amount of credit to be automatically added when your balance drops below £3. This is called “auto top up”. You can choose to have from 1-3 auto top ups a month.

In the UK:
Call 43430 and follow the voice prompts. Press option 2 to hear your balance and plan info. (Heads up: option 2 also lets you buy a plan using your credit, so only press it if you just want your balance.)

It helps to have a saved backup payment method. If you don’t have enough credit in your account come renewal time, we will attempt to debit your default backup payment method for the full amount.
Add a credit/debit card or link your PayPal account as your backup payment method.

The minimum amount you can add is £10. You can then buy credit in £5 increments up to a maximum of £30.
