Useful Network Shortcodes

How to use network shortcodes for managing your giffgaff account.

Written by Andy

To use these shortcodes, dial them from your phone like you would with a normal phone number. They're free to use, but note that call forwarding will deduct from your credit, if you're not using a plan.

Besides the shortcodes below, you can text 43430 for specific queries. Here's a guide on those 43430 codes.

Note: Below, {NUMBER} should be replaced with the number you're diverting calls to or dialling.

  • Show your number: Text "number" to 43430 returns your full mobile number, membername and a link to the dashboard

Call diversion

You can set up call forwarding from the settings on your Apple and Android devices. Here’s a guide on getting that set up.

{OLD} is the old PIN and {NEW} is the new PIN.

  • Change SIM PIN code: **04*{OLD}*{NEW}*{NEW}#

  • Change SIM PIN2 code: **042*{OLD}*{NEW}*{NEW}#

Note: Remember to set a SIM PIN as it adds an extra layer of security to your mobile device, helping to keep your personal data safe. It ensures that even if someone gets hold of your SIM, they won’t be able to use it without the correct PIN. It's a simple step to take that can make a big difference in protecting your information.
