Want to switch to giffgaff broadband but you’re worried about being charged exit fees? Not a problem - we’ll take care of them for you.
Who’s eligible?
You can claim if:
You're taking out a 24-month giffgaff broadband plan at a UK home address
You're leaving your current provider before your contract with them ends
They've charged you a broadband exit fee, and it's itemised on your final bill
You're the named account holder on both your old provider's account and your giffgaff account, at the same address
You placed your order between 29 August and 30 October 2026
You’ve made your first two payments to giffgaff broadband on time
You can't claim if:
Your old contract had already ended, or was rolling month to month, so there was no exit fee to pay
The charges are for something other than leaving your broadband early, like unpaid bills, late fees, unreturned kit, setup or engineer charges, or leaving a TV or mobile contract
You're getting our Full Fibre for a Fiver discount for your first 6 months
You've already had a giffgaff switching or exit fee credit on this account
You’ve missed either of your first two giffgaff broadband payments
One claim per broadband account. And you'll need to upload details of your exit fee in your final bill within 60 days of your broadband going live.
Is there a limit to how much giffgaff will cover?
We’ll pay your exit fees up to £300. We won’t cover anything over this amount.
We add it as credit to your giffgaff broadband account which will then be used to pay for your monthly broadband bill. We’ll also round up to the nearest £1. So for example if your exit fee was £101.25, you’d get £102 credit.
How long do I have to claim?
From the day your service goes live, you’ll have 60 days to let us know about the exit fee you were charged and provide evidence.
