If your phone isn’t working with a giffgaff SIM it may be locked to another network. It will usually say something like, “SIM card not valid”, “SIM lock”, or “Insert correct SIM card”. Some phones may display a message like, “SIM not accepted” when they’ve been barred as lost or stolen

Here are all the ways you can get your phone unlocked:

  1. If you've recently joined giffgaff, contact your previous network provider for a Network Unlock Code. (If you don't know the previous network, check if there’s a logo from another network printed on the phone)

  2. Contact the manufacturer

  3. Contact the seller

  4. Check out Unlockapedia for info on how to unlock your phone

  5. How to unlock your mobile phone on any network, Uswitch guide

Any phone you buy from us should be already unlocked.
