How to order a replacement and perform a SIM swap to get your service up and running again with this guide.

No problem. You can activate new SIM and swap your number over easily anytime between 4.30am and 9.30pm.

Need a new SIM?

You can order one from us or pick one up from a local shop. Any giffgaff SIM will work.

How do I SIM swap?

Once you have a new SIM, or if you’ve got an unactivated giffgaff SIM and can still access your registered email address to get your 2-step verification code, just:

  1. Log in to your giffgaff account first (this bit’s important)

  2. Head to giffgaff SIM activation and activate your new SIM

  3. When asked, choose to move your current giffgaff number to the new SIM

Just follow the steps on screen. You don’t need to buy credit or another plan to do this.

Note: If you’ve got your new SIM but can’t access your registered email address, get in touch with one of our friendly agents. They’ll help you update your details so you can get your verification code and complete the steps above.
