How to order a replacement and get your service up and running again with this guide.

Not a problem. You can activate a new one and swap your number over easily anytime between 4.30am and 9.30pm.

  1. If you have an unactivated giffgaff SIM at hand and if you still have access to your registered email address to receive a 2-step verification code, you can log in to your giffgaff account (it's super important that you do this first).

  2. Then pop over to giffgaff.com/activate to activate that SIM. You'll be asked if you want to swap your current giffgaff number to the new SIM. Just follow the steps. There's no need to buy credit or another plan. If you need a new SIM you can order one here, or buy one from a nearby shop. Any giffgaff SIM will do the job.

  3. Once you have your new SIM but do not have access to your registered email address, reach out to one of our friendly agents here who can help you to update your details so you can receive your verification code and go through steps 1 and 2 above.
