How to resolve 2-step verification SMS issues on giffgaff, including troubleshooting missed SMS and resending verification code.

I didn't receive my SMS code

  1. It can take up to 5 minutes for the code to arrive. Wait and if still doesn't arrive, try clicking “resend”

  2. Check to make sure your sms isn't already full this will only happen with some devices

I don’t have access to my phone right now

We need to confirm your number to help keep your account secure.

When requesting a PAC or STAC code, or swapping your SIM, you’ll need access to your SMS messages so we can verify it's really you. If you're unable to use SMS, our agents can still help you. They'll just need to complete a quick identity check with you first.

For the fastest way to get your PAC or STAC, we recommend using the SMS short code if you can, it’s much quicker and doesn’t require any checks.

I received the code but it isn't working

  1. Make sure you’ve entered the right code, the code is 6 digits only

  2. If you copy and paste the code make sure to not have any white spaces copied with the code

  3. The code expires after 10 minutes. If the error message ‘saying it is expired or it’s been longer than 10 minutes then ask for a new one by clicking on “resend”

  4. Check your connection network
