An adult content block keeps younger eyes away from online content that could be harmful or upsetting.

In your eero app this is known as ‘content filters’. This is where you can manage these settings.

You’ll need to make sure you have a profile created, you can do this by tapping ‘add a profile’ in the top right of the eero app. You’ll then need to select the devices you would like to add to the profile.

From the home screen you’ll then need to tap on that profile to see the profile detail screen.

  • Tap ‘Content Filters’, you can then select the level that’s right for you

  • You can now review the settings for the level you’ve selected and tap ‘Apply’ to confirm

  • Once applied you’ll be able to customise the settings further by toggling the ones you do and don’t need on and off

Harmful content should now be stopped from reaching the users you don’t want to see it. Instead they’ll be directed to a generic eero blocked page.

Want to lift the block? Just head back to ‘Content Filters’ again and tweak the settings to suit your needs.
