eSIM compatibility for non-phone devices such as iPads and smartwatches.

iPad: eSIM is still fairly new so only more recent iPads will work with it. It’s a hardware feature built into the newer iPad models during production (not something you can add later). Unfortunately, it's not as simple as a software update. As a quick guide, you can check here to see what iPad supports eSIM.

If you're still not sure about your iPad, check with Apple or ask the tech whizzes in our friendly community.

Smatwatches: Wearables, like smart watches, can use eSIM technology but they also depend on other network components that we haven’t quite got going yet.

While we haven’t got an exact timeframe for introducing support for these wearables, you can keep an eye out on the community for any updates.
