How does it work?
You'll get them whenever you add credit to your account, start a plan you bought using a card, a voucher or PayPal, or by recurring a plan. Getting at least £10 Payback as credit also counts.
Buying credit for another member's account doesn't count and neither does buying a plan with existing credit, unless you've set your plan to recur from credit.
Note: You must be in the UK to benefit from free giffgaff-to-giffgaff calls and texts.
60 minutes is the maximum length of a free giffgaff-to-giffgaff call. Any time spent on a call after 60 minutes will be charged from your credit or be free as part of your plan. To avoid the charges, simply hang up before the 60 minutes are up and redial.
If you’re a giffgaff member, check your dashboard under, "recent usage" to see when your free giffgaff-to-giffgaff calls and texts expire. Smashing.
Why have I been charged for giffgaff-to-giffgaff calls or texts?
It may be longer than three months since you bought a plan or some credit. Check on your dashboard under, “recent usage” to see when your free giffgaff-to-giffgaff calls and texts expire.
Or, it’s possible that the person has left giffgaff. They may have switched networks and taken their giffgaff number with them.
