Life can be unpredictable, but it’s nice to know you’ve got someone who can help manage your account if you're ever unable to do it yourself.

You can register a 'Lasting Power of Attorney' (LPA) to your giffgaff account, so your loved ones can help manage things for you and keep everything running smoothly. Don’t worry - registering a LPA is straightforward.

Register a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)

Get in touch with one of our friendly agents by simply raising a case via the account in question and let them know you want to register a LPA. They’ll then get back to you requesting the following information:

  1. A copy of the BF57 form (or an alternative court document granting LPA)

  2. Identification that confirms the account holder's name as listed on the court document

  3. Identification confirming the third party’s name (the LPA), as displayed on the court document

  4. As well as the following:

    • Account holder's full name

    • Number

    • Membername (username) registered to the account

    • Address registered to the account (including postal code)

An agent will provide instructions on how to attach the documents and where to send the requested information.

Note: If you're the LPA and you're raising a case with an agent, and you don’t have access to the account you’re to manage, you'll need to pass security questions with the agents to verify the account before moving forward.

Once we get the requested info from the LPA, our agents will add the record to the account to confirm the LPA is registered. Once it’s done, it’ll stay there-unless a request is made to remove it.

We’re here to help make sure your account stays in good hands, whenever you need it.
