Does giffgaff offer a landline?

No landlines here, just pure broadband (and mobile phones if you want one)

The short answer is no, we don’t

The ever so slightly longer one is that we only offer pure full fibre broadband. No bundles, no hidden extras.

Can I keep my landline when I get giffgaff broadband?

Yes you can. But if you use One Touch Switch to switch to us then your existing landline will be cancelled. You’ll need to speak to your older provider to cancel your old broadband/TV bundle, but specifically ask to keep your landline.

Are there any other options?

You could get a landline service from a digital voice (VoIP or voice over internet protocol) provider. There are plenty of options out there, and if you already have a TV package with one of them then you may be able to keep or transfer your number to a digital voice service.

Some of the independent VoIP providers also let you use your existing broadband to make and receive calls.

Just remember that if you do opt for a VoIP service then it relies on your broadband connection and electricity. So if there’s a power cut or internet outage then your calls may not work. In those cases it’s good to make sure you’ve got a battery backup or charged mobile phone handy.
