Yes, all plans can be bought/auto-renewed from credit. But:

  • if you presently have a auto-renew, you must stop it recurring here before you can buy a single plan

  • if you have a queued plan, you must cancel the next plan here before you can purchase a single plan

  • it's not currently possible to buy monthly rolling plans from credit, because they require a recurring card or PayPal payment

  • you should not add credit specifically to buy a plan. It's safer and easier to see the related articles and buy the plan direct

  • your credit must already be sufficient for your chosen plan, It's not possible to pay partly from credit and partly by another method

How to buy a plan online from credit:

Online: Start here and the option to “pay with balance” will appear when you're ready to buy:

giffgaff app: Just change your payment method to "credit balance", assuming it's not already selected.

By Phone: dial 43430 option 2 to choose a plan and pay from your credit balance using your device keypad.

What to do if your current plan hasn't expired yet:

  • your new plan will be queued ready to start at midnight on the day your present plan expires

  • it will not automatically start before then, even if the old plan runs out of data

  • to start it sooner, see How can I start a plan early
