Yes, you can buy a plan using your available credit. If you have enough credit to cover the cost of the plan, you can do this easily by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Buy a Plan page.

  2. Choose the plan you want.

  3. Select the option to pay using your credit.

What if I have a recurring plan?

If you already have a recurring plan set up, you can start your next recurring plan early using your credit, there’s no need to switch off your recurring plan first. Just head to the Plans section in your account and select "Start your next plan now."

This gives you the flexibility to begin a new plan whenever you need it while still keeping your recurring setup in place.

How to buy a plan online from credit:

Online: Start here and the option to “pay with balance” will appear when you're ready to buy:

giffgaff app: Just change your payment method to "credit balance", assuming it's not already selected.

By Phone: dial 43430 option 2 to choose a plan and pay from your credit balance using your device keypad.

What to do if your current plan hasn't expired yet:

  • your new plan will be queued ready to start at midnight on the day your present plan expires

  • it will not automatically start before then, even if the old plan runs out of data

  • to start it sooner, see How can I start a plan early
